Is there really a need for NDUEC?
Nearly 6% of children in Northern Kentucky dropout of school between 7th grade and high school. Recognizing the need for educational support, NDUEC was established and provides one-on-one tutoring, academic support, cultural and arts enrichment, and structured fitness for the under-served children in our community.
Why should I invest in NDUEC?
Beyond access to health, safety and social services, children need opportunities to enrich their lives and help them be successful. Your contribution enables children and families access an intensive level of academic support and enrichment, and to benefit from this effective program. Your contribution enables children and families to participate in our educational programs.
What difference will my gift make?
Your investment supports the four educational programs: Homework PLUS, Early Learning, Summer Academics, and Family Support. Through the collaborative efforts of the Sisters of Notre Dame, local community organizations, volunteers, and generous donors like you, our students improve their grades, their self-esteem and their journey toward academic success and a more productive and fulfilling life.
What is in it for me?
You will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are directly assisting these children and their families. In addition, your gift is tax deductible as permitted by applicable law and you will be recognized by the Notre Dame Urban Education Center through a grateful listing in our Annual Report.
Can I dedicate the gift to someone?
Donors may make a gift to NDUEC in honor or memory of someone special or to mark an important occasion by noting such at the time the gift is made. We ask that the donor include relevant contact information so that a note can be sent to the individual or family acknowledging the gift on behalf of the donor. There will also be a special mention of these gifts in the donor listing.
What do you accept?
While we prefer monetary donations either through our website or by cash or check, we do also have other ways you can give. Other ways to donate include: securities (stocks and bonds), a charitable bequest, life insurance, or retirement plan assets. Please get in touch with us if you plan to donate using these mediums.
